Our History
Our History
Worcester Home CareSM started when President Rick Stein saw the incredible amount of coordination, skill, and compassion it took to support his grandmother on hospice and his grandfather who was performing all the caregiving duties. After breaking down and allowing outside aides and hospice nurses into their home, his grandparents realized the blessing of having skilled and caring people to perform the hands-on physical care, to manage the medication, and to constantly adjust the care plan to provide the necessary resources.
In the end, the outside services allowed this loving couple to be what they had been for one another through 62 years of marriage: each other’s emotional support as husband and wife.
Since 2011, Worcester Home CareSM has helped families needing supplemental support in conjunction with hospice and additional 1:1 personal care support at home or in an assisted living facility.
Worcester Home CareSM is proud to have helped more than 1,000 families when they needed a skilled, reliable, empathetic, and personable personal care agency for 1:1 personal care and end-of-life/hospice assistance.
